"The most important quality a creative professional can have is not the
ability to draw or write, but to think."
Eric has certainly done his share of deep thinking on some of the most
prolific advertising campaigns around. For instance, he was
instrumental in the branding of WONDERS: The Memphis International Cultural Series and the re-branding of Methodist Healthcare. He also helped launch Circus-Circus Casino in north Mississippi, as well as the resort's
conversion to the all-new Gold Strike Casino brand. The Memphis Public
Library has capitalized on Eric's branding services, and he did design
work for the development phase of the new Central Library (InfoHUB).
In addition to overseeing quality creative, it is also Eric's
responsibility to attract bright, resourceful people, instill our high
standards in them and then support these individuals as they develop
strong, results-oriented advertising and communications.
Eric leads a stellar group of creative people, who have been recognized
with hundreds of awards locally, regionally and nationally. With more
than 200 local and regional Addy Awards on the shelves (including a
2006 National Gold Addy for Memphis in May International Festival), the
agency's work also has been featured in such prominent industry trades
as Adweek and PRINT.
A graphic designer by trade, with 20 years in the business, he is the
only art director in the city to win the Memphis Advertising Federation's
Copywriter of the Year Award twice.
